Hello Everybody!
Yes, you read the tittle correctly! I'm saying goodbye to my blog!
I thought it would be fitting to use the photoshoot I opened my blog with!

This post has been a long time coming.
And I hope my following statement makes sense.
To be honest, I’ve re-written this blogpost so many times.

It’s no secret that I haven’t been as consistent (understatement) with blog posts for the past….. year?!
I've been blogging for 5 years now!
Back when I started blogging, I had a 5 year-blogging plan. Yup, I'm that kind of person.
Somewhere around year 3, I started loosing the passion of it all. But none the less, I still had one foot in while one foot out! I had made so many friends and connections along the way, that I decided to stick it out.  I told myself that if my blog did not go anywhere incredible in 5 years... I'd start a new journey.

Hello Year 5!

I think overtime interests, hobbies, and likes change. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I think that after becoming a mom, my passion and focus has changed drastically. For a while, I thought that I wouldn’t give up blogging unless I had this Amazing plan figured out and an amazing thing to jump into next. But overtime, it made me resent my blog and all the time and effort that goes into making a single post at a time. I started hating shoot days, specially when I had to drag my husband or baby into it. And the busier we got, the last thing I wanted to do is use our free time, to hustle through something I wasn’t even sure WHY or for WHAT I was doing it.

On that note,
Over the past 5 years, the blogging industry has done a lot of changing too. In my opinion, most of the changes have not been so hot. Not to mention that this industry is super political. It got to a point where I felt like I was running a rat-race.    Yuk.

While I would not trade all the friends, fun, experience, and connections, that blogging has brought me,
I confidently feel that it’s time to move on.
This could be temporary or it could be permanent. Only time will tell. But for the mean time, I want to close this chapter and see what else can fuel my passion.
While I don't plan on getting rid of my brand name ever, my domain will likely remain up but probably remain idle.

Thank you to EVERYONE, even if it's just 20 of you (I don't know how many people still read blogs anymore). But everyone who has supported me, my blog, and my crazy ideas! It has seriously meant the world to me and has given me the confidence to go on to a new journey! You guys are the best and I'd love to encourage you back and tell you to go be your own cheerleaders as well and start doing that thing you've always wanted to do, whatever it may be!!!

Love you all,

Katherine Romrell

So lets talk about my cute little lacy thang'!
This GORGEOUS Mesh Eyelash Lace BabyDoll is my newest favorite!
And let's just say the hubs approves ;)

It's funny how your taste in lingerie can change overtime. I personally like all kinds of styles and luckily so does the hubs! However, after having a baby, and my body currently being... "under construction", lingerie can feel intimidating and sometimes just make you feel worse about your body. And let's be honest; if you're not feeling it then neither are they!

It's not hard to find various styles of lingerie in the market, but I'd say IT IS HARD to find Sexy & Classy lingerie all in one piece and one place! Enter Mentionables!

Let’s get intimate”

Now that we're talking about Lingerie, lets get more comfortable! Why?
Cause this subject actually goes hand-in-hand with self-love & self-confidence.
Sometimes, I personally like to lounge around in cute little things and half the time, it's NOT for my guy, it's for ME!
There is nothing better to boost your confidence than to just embrace your body exactly how it is and to feel comfortable in your own skin.
And you better belief that my OCD extends as far as my mentionables go. If my underwear is black, my bra is black! I always match! Always!
Do yourself a favor and google "Matching underwear helps self-esteam" & "Reasons why you should buy lingerie"!

I love love love their delicate style, and if you've already fallen in love with their Instagram Feed, (Nothing short of Pinterest worthy) wait till you actually order your own pair and feel the material and feel so cute and sexy in a piece.  Currently, I've got my eyes on all of their bralettes

Hello lovely people!
My brows and lashes are ready to conquer the world!
Technically I could go in for a 3rd and last Microblading session but I love the way they look right now. PS: Yes, I have makeup in the pictures above, but I DO NOT have makeup on my brows or lashes!

It's crazy how different you feel sporting a no-makeup face when your brows are killin' it! I'm not sure if any of you guys ever noticed, but my natural eyebrows were not sisters nor twins, they were more like 2nd cousins! haha I think there are a couple of blog posts where it's a bit obvious! Feel free to hunt those pictures down! Haha!

Sirene totally made them even. She brought one higher to match the other and she made them longer! I'm so in love with my brows, specially cause they still look so natural! I've had a few photoshoots this week, and not once did I put makeup on my brows! I didn't feel like I had to and still loved my look! And can I tell you how much hustle time it's cut off my makeup routine! SO MUCH! Add lash extensions and you are good to go!

Check out an all natural picture of my brows. I had literally just come out of the shower, no makeup, nothing!

Q's & A's

Does it hurt?
Nope. Not one bit. Numbing cream is applied however many times you need it!

How long does it last?
Microbladed brows can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years. It normally starts fading after a year. Just remember everyone's skin is different.

Can you use makeup on your brows?
After your healing period, yes. But why would you need to ? ;)
